The Lilienthal 31 Hand-Launched Glider was developed by Aeronaut in collaboration with the DMFV for youth work in clubs and schools

Thanks to precisely manufactured parts, the model is quick to build. The instructions include details for retrofitting a turn control.

The Lilienthal is a wooden construction with paper-covered ribbed wings. As the underside of the wing is smooth, assembly is very straightforward.

All parts are precisely laser-cut from balsa wood, abachi, and plywood. The leading and trailing edges are milled and notched to fix the ribs in the correct position.

A comprehensive building manual and plan are included.
